The goal of Mama’s Boy Design, LLC is to create a fun learning environment focused on machine education and promotion. Classes are customized to the needs of the retailer and their clientele and can be presented in a lecture/demonstration format or as hands-on project based classes. Mike Johns, the owner of Mama’s Boy Design, LLC, is a Certified Baby Lock Ambassador of Education and Product Educator and Lead Trainer for Durkee Embroidery Hoops, Inc. Mike offers a wide variety of classes on single and multi-needle Baby Lock embroidery machines, Baby Lock sergers, Durkee Embroidery Hoops, Cameo Silhouette, Brother Scan N Cut and a variety of embroidery editing and digitizing software (Embroidery Works Everyday/Advanced/Creator, Palette 11, Perfect Embroidery Professional, FTCU).
In addition to classes held at retailer locations throughout the U.S., it is the goal of Mama’s Boy Design, LLC to provide a variety of resources for the home embroiderer and sewer. As such, a “closed group” on Facebook has been created, On the group page you will find Facebook Live Sessions and video tutorials focusing on basic embroidery and sewing techniques, various software, and provide education of various Baby Lock machines. To gain access to the group, please visit the Mama’s Boy Design, LLC Facebook Page and click on the “Visit Group” icon located under the main banner. You will be prompted to answer a series of questions which must be fully answered if you would to be considered for admission.

January 17, 2019 – The Schedule section of the website has been updates to include all events for 2019 (some are marked as Event Details Coming soon and will be updated once final event details are available). Bookings for 2020 are now in process and will be added to the calendar as information becomes available.
